Oh yes, this one is the mother of them all…the big gig! Five bands come together to make for a heady night. Metalcore band Bhayanak Maut, Gangtok’s premier feel-good-riff-rock act Still Waters, Mumbai’s Scribe, heavy/progressive metal band Prestorika and Delhi’s Oritus. Be there!
HOT Tip: Entry is through free passes handed out during previous Yamaha Roxx gigs…so if you don’t have them, find someone who does.

In the mood for some Punjabi grooves? Get here to listen to some bhangra music by UK’s DJ Sanj and shake a leg.

Q’BA, Connaught Place, October 27, 8 pm onwards The renowned nu-age jazz based world music band, Gautam Ghosh Collective are showcasing their unique soundscape. The band uses instruments from all over the world like the saxophone, tribal horns, flutes, sarod, drums, world percussions, synthesiser and abstract voicings.
Weekend Beats @ Elevate, October 27–28, 10 pm onwards On Oct 27, check out Denmark’s Jacob spinning some house music.
Oct 28 has UK’s Scratch bringing his hiphop mixes to the dance floor.
Or there’s DJ Mathieu with minimal techno & house, playing on the terrace on the same night.
